Information we collect
When you request a buyback offer or consignment review, SNA Express may collect your name, email address, ZIP code, item details, estimated value, notes, product photographs, electronic signature, and acknowledgments. If an item is accepted, we also request a shipping and return address plus a redacted image of a government-issued ID for identity verification. Sellers are instructed to cover the ID number, birth date, and street address on the ID image before uploading. When a payout becomes available, we may collect the PayPal email address or Venmo phone number you choose for that payment.
Customer accounts and subscriptions
When you create an account, we store your verified email, saved contact and shipping details, request history, monthly item usage, and subscription status. Passwords are stored as salted, one-way hashes; email confirmation and password reset use expiring links. We use a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. Sign-in requests are rate limited using your email and network address. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe; SNA Express stores billing identifiers and subscription status, but does not collect or store your full payment-card details. You can edit saved details and manage your subscription from your account.
Optional Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your name, verified email address, and a unique Google account identifier. We use these to create or access your SNA Express account and connect it with your existing offers and subscription. We request only basic identity information, not access to Gmail, Google Drive, or your contacts. A short-lived cookie and a one-time sign-in record protect the sign-in process. Email and password sign-in remain available.
How we use information
We use this information to review submitted items, create and manage marketplace listings, communicate about consignment opportunities, calculate and process seller payouts, issue receipts, operate and secure our services, and maintain business records.
How we share information
We may share information with eBay and service providers that help us host, secure, and operate the website, deliver email communications, provide shipping labels through Shippo, process subscription payments through Stripe, or process a payout you request. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Identification and product images are stored privately and are available only through authenticated administrative access. We retain information only as reasonably needed for identity verification, the consignment transaction, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted, subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements. You may also ask us to stop non-transactional email communications.
